There’s much more to podcasting than recording & editing, but its often hard to know what all you need to be mindful of behind the scenes. That's where Blk Podfest The Business of Podcasting Summit comes in. StreamYard & Blk Pod Collective came together to bring to life a one day interactive virtual summit to fill in the gap by providing attendees with resources to help them position their podcast as a business and tools to pivot in their creative journey.

Whether you're an aspiring, new or experienced podcaster, the event had something for everyone. From workshops, panels, vendors to networking opportunities; we curated an experience that will transform, connect and engage each attendee.

Our mission is to help fill the void of adequate representation for Black people within the podcast industry. We do this by providing support, creating avenues to increase visibility, and developing educational resources to ensure that our community has the tools needed to start, grow and sustain their platforms.
